Qualifications
PhD candidate University of Canberra (School of Art and Design), BA. Media and Communications (Film) 1st Class Hons (Sound Production) UNSW, Music Industry Technical Production Cert IV, Electronics Cert IIClare sound artist, designer and theorist based in Canberra, Australia. She has a BA Media and Communications from UNSW 2007. In 2008 she completed certificate 3 &4 in Music Industry Technical Production at North Sydney Institute College of TAFE. She returned to UNSW in 2009 to complete an honours year in audio production he which she received First Class First Place Honours under the supervision of Mat Wall Smith.
In 2010 she commenced lecturing and conducting workshops in Sound Media theory and production at UNSW. In that same year she also completed a certificate II in Electronics at Ultimo TAFE whilst working at UTS as an AV technician and working on various independent film productions as a sound designer. She was sound designer for the Tropfest 2011 finalist film "Transparency" and for the film "Mondo Ghillies" screened at NextWave 2010 Melbourne.
In 2011 Clare commenced her PhD in practiced based research, sonic arts, at the Univeristy Canberra under the supervision of Mitchell Whitelaw. She continues to lecture and conduct workshops in sound media at the University of New South Wales.
