Imaging the Land International Research Initiative (ILIRI)

The Imaging the Land International Research Initiative is an initiative of the School of Art, at COFA which aims to open a dialogue across a wide spectrum of contemporary approaches to landscape art - indigenous and non-indigenous, local and international.

The International Drawing Research Initiative (IDRI)

The Initiative comprises its three founding members, COFA, UNSW, the China Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in Beijing and the Glasgow School of Art (GSA). IDRI is a consortium created to advance research into and through the discipline of drawing

The Omnium Project

The Omnium Projects aim is to explore the potential to embrace Internet technologies with collaborative creative practices, to encourage new opportunities for visual artists and designers to work together across boundaries of culture, language and time.

The Environmental Research Initiative for Art (ERIA)

ERIA conducts high-level research into the sustainability of electronic public art from fabrication to installation. ERIA also explores embedded, regenerative, aesthetic systems for the development of site specific art.

Cicada Press

Cicada Press was established at the College of Fine Arts, The University of NSW in 2004 to foster research projects that facilitate a diverse contemporary dialogue and promote the broad methodological potential of printmaking practice.
