Join us in the Black Box at UNSW Art & Design for an immersive art therapy program developed in response to themes of the 24th Biennale of Sydney, ‘Ten Thousand Suns’.
Through an interactive video experience, group discussion, and art therapy workshop, audiences will explore diverse perspectives on identity and peace presented in the exhibition, including artists drawing on First Nations lineages, queer identities, and experiences of post-war trauma.
With a focus on the work of Bonita Ely and William Yang, the program invites audiences to consider the emotional complexities underpinning identity and healing journeys, inspiring reflection and discussion around cultural diversity, gender equality, and world peace. Explore the power of art together, evoke empathy and understanding, and join us in building a more inclusive and harmonious society.
