This program extends on UNSW Galleries' relationship with the Windgap Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation aiming to improve the quality of life of people with an intellectual disability by supporting them in reaching their full potential, and raising community awareness as to their needs and aspirations.
Following a curatorial walkthrough of the 24th Biennale of Sydney ‘Ten Thousand Suns’, participants of the Windgap Life After Work program are invited to participate in a collaborative painting workshop responding to works and ideas experienced in the exhibition. Participants will explore how making collaboratively as a group opens up opportunities for reflection, discussion, and creativity. This program aims to engage participants on multiple sensory levels, and provide new access points for understanding themes in the exhibition.
