Master of Philosophy, Bachelor of Arts (Visual)
Karen Kriss is an artist and researcher exploring elements of motion capture, experimental drawing and computer generated imagery (CGI).
Her current research expands into the field of interactivity and participatory performance, working with people living with a disability.
She lectures in Media Arts (Animation, Motion Capture, CGI) at UNSW, Faculty of Art and Design, where she also completed a Master of Philosophy in 2016.
Previously Karen has over 10 years of experience in the Animation and Visual effects industry including Head of Production Management, Visual Effects Producer, Digital Producer at Mr.X Toronto, Canada, as well as Senior Production Coordinator at Animal Logic, Sydney.
She has worked on both short form animation and feature films including Happy Feet and Resident Evil: Extinction.
