The UNSW Art & Design Career Ready Mentoring Program connects students in their penultimate and final year of study with established alumni and industry professionals, providing students with practical support and a significant opportunity to focus on career development during the transition from study to work.
The program is delivered via 5 face-to-face sessions over a 12 week period and appears on each successful mentees' AHEGS statement.
Whilst students set their objectives, mentors act as a sounding board and advisor, sharing insights and knowledge. Many of our mentors enjoy getting a chance to give back, and to help pass on some of their experience, wisdom and skills to a new generation of Australian artists and designers.
The 2019 Career Ready Mentoring Program is now complete. Applications for the 2020 program will open towards the end of 2019 and run from June to September.
If you have any questions or would like to register your interest in participating as a mentor in the 2020 program, please contact Keri Bell, Alumni & Engagement Coordinator, UNSW Art & Design - firstname.lastname@example.org.
Students interested in joining the 2020 program should contact UNSW Careers & Employment.
