Students have access to three specialised computer labs at UNSW School of Art & Design. Postgraduate students receive 24/7 access to the computer labs to assist with their studies. Every computer is equipped with a suite of industry standard software that supports the school's creative programs.
General purpose teaching labs
- General purpose teaching labs are timetabled teaching labs containing 24 iMac computers, one demonstrator's computer, a flatbed scanner, HD projector and stereo PA. General purpose teaching labs are located in rooms D102, D104, D204 and D210.
High performance teaching labs
- D202 is a 24 seat teaching lab containing 24 Mac Pro computers feeding 24" wide gamut, colour calibratable displays. There is one demonstrator's computer that can display an HD projector and stereo PA. Each computer is equipped with an Avid Mbox audio interface to facilitate high quality audio editing.
