Undergraduate students have an 'Enrolment Appointment' which indicates the day on which they can begin to enrol. You can check your enrolment appointment in your myUNSW Student Profile. Enrolment appointments are intended to give higher level students first choice of courses and to balance the traffic in myUNSW to avoid a system crash.
Postgraduate students do not have an Enrolment Appointment and can enrol any time after enrolment commences.
UNSW Art & Design offers a wide range of courses.
The easiest way to identify what is available in each term is to download the relevant course list from this page.
UNSW 3+ Calendar
In 2019, UNSW introduces a 3 Term Academic Calendar. Art & Design courses have been mapped into the 3+ calendar to provide optimised pathways for student progression.
UNSW has also moved to annual enrolment allowing students to better plan their studies by enrolling in all their courses for the entire year. This involves a two-step process:
Step 1: Course Enrolment where students will enrol in the courses they intend to take for the following year.
Step 2: Class Registration where students will choose class times for their enrolled courses. Class registration will open at least 8 weeks before the start of each term.
If you are a continuing student, courses from your original program may no longer be offered. To understand these changes to the Art & Design curriculum, you can download a table of equivalent and substitution courses. This will assist in following the transition to new courses and course codes:

Do you want to enrol in a class that is full?
Full Class Requests are only considered when a course is required for progression/completion, i.e. you will not be able to complete your degree without taking a specific course in the upcoming term. This means requests for contextual studies or electives will not be approved.
Requests will be prioritised according to the nearest approaching term.
