Applications for 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art’s 4A Beijing Studio Program and 4A Emerging Writer's Program are now open.
4A Beijing Studio Program
The program allows three early career artists to undertake a month-long intensive studio program throughout September 2017 at the studios of internationally renowned Chinese-Australian artist Shen Shaomin on the outskirts of Beijing. 4A’s Beijing Studio Program provides a unique opportunity for artists to research new projects, develop new professional networks and witness first-hand the changes occurring in one of the most vibrant cities in Asia.
The program includes return airfares, accommodation, travel stipend and travel/medical insurance.
Applications are due by 5pm AEST Monday 8 May 2017.

4A Emerging Writer’s Program
The 4A Emerging Writer’s Program will support an emerging Australian writer to travel to the Pacific in September 2017 to realise two publication outcomes. The 4A Emerging Writer’s Program is open to Australian students currently undertaking a degree at honours or postgraduate level in art, history or related fields of study at an Australian tertiary institution.
The selected writer will undertake a one-week research trip to a Pacific nation in September 2017, with return airfares from the recipient’s nearest state capital city, accommodation, per diems, travel stipend and travel/medical insurance.
