This scholarship is to encourage international academics, artists and designers to undertake postgraduate research studies at UNSW School of Art & Design.
The Faculty awards PhD scholarships in its areas of strength and strategic priority. It makes available a number of $30,000 international postgraduate scholarships for projects aligned with Australian Research Council grants and major collaborative projects in our leading research groups.

Details
Amount: equivalent to current year's IPRS.
Tenure: Duration of the program (up to 3 years), subject to satisfactory progress
Recipients with outstanding research potential or with projects aligned with the Faculty’s areas of strength and strategic priority will also be automatically considered for the UNSW School of Art & Design Top Up Scholarship. No additional application is required.
Application Eligibility
The Faculty awards postgraduate research scholarships in its areas of strength and strategic priority. Current academics from recognised institutions, or senior artists or designers undertaking a full-time Masters (by Research) or full-time PhD at UNSW School of Art & Design. Residency requirement
Citizen of an overseas country, excluding New Zealand, and not normally residing in Australia. For more details, please see the application guidelines.
Selection criteria
Awards are made on the basis of academic merit, research experience, and research potential or relevance of the applicant's research program to the Faculty's areas of strength and strategic priority.
