The Vicki Olsson Scholarship for Indigenous Students was established to encourage and support Australian Indigenous students undertaking an undergraduate degree at UNSW Art & Design.

Tenure: For up to 4 years
Application Eligibility
The applicant must be an Indigenous student who:
a) Identifies as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; and
b) Is accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in the community which he/she lives.
This scholarship is available to future UNSW students enrolling in any UNSW Art & Design undergraduate degree program, which includes:

Foundation Studies Students

Nura Gili Admissions Scheme (including Mature Students)

Selection Criteria
Applicants will be assessed on the following criteria:

Academic merit and/ or professional experience and achievements

Aptitude and commitment to extra-curricular, sporting or cultural activities and/or charity and volunteer work

Potential to contribute to the wider life of the University
Consideration will be given to financial need or other economic/social disadvantage that may hinder successful transition to university.
