Jacqueline is a video artist and UNSW alumni who works with audio visual technology to explore themes of memory, narrative and the passing of time. She has worked collaboratively and individually on a variety of interdisciplinary performances, videos and installations with organisations including Carriageworks, Performance Space, Airspace Projects, the Malthouse Theatre and PACT Centre For Emerging Artists.
Sasha is an experienced professional photographer and art practitioner working across photography, video and installation. She holds a Bachelor of Art in Photography and Social Science and Master of Art from UNSW Art & Design. Her photographic expertise encompasses digital and analog processes, studio lighting and portraiture. With a foundation in documentary photography, her projects engage with identity performance and explore portrait-making as a social practice underpinned by collaboration between photographer and subject.
With over 34 years in broadcast media, post production and business operations, Shane brings extensive, professional, “real world” experience to UNSW. Having worked for Apple, Foxtel, Channel Nine and Channel Seven in senior roles, he is an international award winner for his promo design work. Shane’s comprehensive skill-set includes Non-Linear Editing, Scriptwriting, Compositing, Producing, Direction and Graphic Design.
Alexandra Byrne is an Artist and Senior Technical Officer at UNSW Art & Design. A hands-on maker, Alex has combined her intimate knowledge of artmaking with over 25 years experience working in technical roles within arts education & community arts organisations (spanning ceramics, drawing, installation, jewellery, metal & wood fabrication, painting, photography, print, sculpture and textiles.
Damien is the Team Leader in the 4D Hub. Damien has two decades experience in the visual arts, audio visual/ media technologies and academic research. Supporting a wide array of technology used in the Faculty’s pedagogic pursuits and it’s wider creative cultures, he combines the knowledge and understanding of being an artist and facilitator of education in creative practices.
